Roller bearings as per DIN EN 1337-4
We design and supply individually tailored engineering solutions for structures of historic importance. Schreiber Brücken-Dehntechnik provides support during every phase of a bridge construction project, from design through to the engineering phase and then on to installation and maintenance.
Operating principle
The roller bearings consist of one or more cylindrical rollers located between a top and bottom steel plate. The vertical loads are transferred via the linear contact between the rollers and the steel plates. The horizontal movements are made possible by the rolling movement of the cylindrical components. In rocker bearings, the vertical loads are made possible through a linear or localised contact between two steel plates.
Product advantages
- For the absorption of large vertical and horizontal forces
- Repair of structures of historic importance.
